Locum Anesthesiology Specialist

Aya Locums offers a unique opportunity for skilled Anesthesiologists to provide temporary support to hospitals and surgical centers in California.

Estimated Salary: $300-$315/hour

We are seeking experienced Anesthesiologists to fill various locum tenens positions. As a Locum Anesthesiology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

• You will work closely with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement optimal patient care plans.
• You will administer various types of anesthesia based on the specific needs of each patient and procedure.
• You will continuously monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary to maintain patient safety and stability.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training program in anesthesiology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the AOA.
• Board certification in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
• An active and unrestricted medical license in California.
• At least one year of experience providing anesthesia care in a clinical setting.
