This position is accountable for leading a team of project management experts to strategize and oversee the execution of an IT portfolio composed of both traditional (waterfall) and agile product teams. Key success factors for this role include fostering a robust, diverse team, nurturing talent, and applying project methodologies effectively, while establishing clear success metrics and enhancing team and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly recruits, contracts, and supervises Project Managers and Scrum Masters, while advocating for team objectives and key results.
  • Develops high-performing teams through mentorship, clear communication of job expectations, strategic planning, and skill enhancement.
  • Engages with IT colleagues and leadership on expectations and prioritization.
  • Collaborates with the IT Center of Delivery Excellence (COE) to adhere to standards, promote best practices, and ensure comprehensive training for team members.
  • Implements best delivery practices, processes, and procedures that facilitate timely and quality outcomes.
  • Works with internal and external teams to ensure value delivery and high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
  • Manages and communicates financial metrics and roadmaps for respective IT areas to provide a centralized view.
  • Oversees Project Managers handling a range of projects, from small to complex, often on a global scale, and manages multiple significant projects concurrently. Scrum Masters facilitate 1-3 product teams based on scope and complexity, activating Agile and Waterfall methodologies for timely capability delivery.
  • Organizes work, schedules, and resource allocation across teams, coordinating dependencies with other teams.
  • Leads demand planning activities within the assigned IT organization utilizing planning tools.
  • Prepares project status reports and presents to executive management.
  • Supports RFP/RFQ processes, including vendor meetings, scorecard development, security assessments, and other required activities.
  • Coordinates and communicates reporting to drive overall Digital Experience KPIs and metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in managing Project Managers and/or Scrum Masters
  • Project Management certification is advantageous
  • Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as necessary

The salary range for this position is $129,150 - $165,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors including the candidate's experience, education, and work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
