About the RoleAs an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assisting in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization. You will also be responsible for preparing and positioning patients and equipment in a safe and competent manner, as well as obtaining high-quality radiographic images and reviewing quality of radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met.
Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review quality of radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met.
- Obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.
We are seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 1-3 years licensed experience in Radiology, including at least one (1) year of IR experience.
