Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Vice President to lead our Technology PR practice in Boston. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing B2B and B2C Tech PR client campaigns, developing new business presentations, managing and cultivating PR staff members, and helping set the tone for how the business is managed.

This position will be a strategic PR counselor to clients, recommending insight-driven strategic programs and media activations that meet the client's business and communications objectives and goals. The ideal candidate will serve as the day-to-day client contact, managing overall program responsibilities and deliverables, and establishing a position as the client's go-to person in all matters related to program execution.

Responsibilities:
  1. Client Management: Develop and execute high-quality strategic communications campaigns that exceed client expectations.
  2. Media Strategy: Recommend insight-driven strategic programs and media activations that meet the client's business and communications objectives and goals.
  3. Program Execution: Serve as the day-to-day client contact, managing overall program responsibilities and deliverables.
  4. Team Leadership: Manage professional development of team members as assigned.
  5. Business Development: Play a pivotal role in business development, including soliciting new business, creating presentations, sharing the agency's vision, and point of difference.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of prior work experience directing public relations teams and client campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a technology field.
  • Deep understanding of public relations and media relations based on prior years of relevant work experience; agency experience preferred.
  • Experience thinking creatively and planning strategically and globally.
  • Adept at developing and delivering presentations/pitches to current and prospective clients.
  • Ability to motivate and lead others.
  • Superb interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to travel as needed to off-site meetings and/or client events.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
