Job Description
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Mobile Ultrasound Technologist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Traveling to patients' homes or facilities to perform ultrasound examinations
- Operating ultrasound equipment and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Preparing reports for radiologists and uploading documents into company systems
- Maintaining equipment and performing routine maintenance and cleaning
- Orienting new staff and training students, if requested
You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in their own environments. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally and develop your skills in diagnostic imaging.
Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography
- Credentialed in medical sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or other recognized organizations
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
