The Radiologic Technologist Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients at Baxter Regional Medical Center. This role supports the Radiologic Technologist team in performing exams and ensuring accurate and efficient imaging processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Radiologic Technologists with imaging exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Operate imaging equipment, maintaining proper function and calibration
  • Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and positioning
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current student of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum 1 year related experience as a Student Radiologic Technologist in a hospital Radiology Department
  • Current CPR certification

Work Environment:

Baxter Regional Medical Center
