RN Utilization Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RN Utilization Manager to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care while also optimizing our resources.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of patient records to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Manage and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with payers and other stakeholders to ensure optimal reimbursement
- Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana
- 3+ years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- CCM or ACM certification
- Experience with electronic medical records and data analysis software
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies
