Job Summary: As a Clinical Dietitian at Timpanogos Regional Hospital, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team, providing nutrition expertise and care to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of nutrition therapy and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess patient nutrition needs, developing personalized plans and goals.
  • Function as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, screening newly admitted patients for nutritional risk.
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and staff.
  • Monitor food and drug interactions, providing nutrition-drug interrelationship information to physicians.
  • Assess patients for malnutrition related to abuse or neglect.

Qualifications:
  • State of Utah Dietitian license.
  • Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Food Science, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • At least one year of clinical experience preferred, preferably in a hospital setting.
