Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or prior retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong product knowledge and enthusiasm for books and other products.
