Concessions Attendant at Cane Creek Sportsplex

This position is a temporary, seasonal role focused on the management of a concession stand.

• Oversee the daily operations of the concession stand, including food preparation and customer service.
• Manage cash transactions, ensuring accurate balancing of the cash drawer and preparation of daily financial reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
• Assist in securing the concession stand at the end of each day, particularly during tournaments and special events.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Familiarity with concession operations and related policies.
• Proficient in operating a cash register.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the public.
• Ability to collaborate with department staff on recreation programs and events.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Quick response capabilities in potential injury situations.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.

Must demonstrate courtesy and professionalism when engaging with the public. A clean and tidy appearance is essential.

A valid driver's license is required. Previous experience in concession operations or cash handling is preferred.

Must be capable of addressing customer complaints and resolving issues effectively. Light lifting may be necessary. Familiarity with cleaning supplies such as detergents, brooms, and mops is important. Ability to follow straightforward work instructions and communicate necessary changes to a supervisor is essential.
