Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer Level 3 to join our team at Pacific Palms Resort. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance quality standards of our resort and surrounding buildings are achieved and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Perform general maintenance work, including mechanical repairs and maintenance, to ensure the resort's facilities are in good working order.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders as assigned.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance assignments to prevent equipment failures and ensure the resort's facilities are well-maintained.
- Assist in checking and making minor repairs to electrical systems, including air conditioning controls, television sets, and lighting systems.
- Assist in checking and making minor repairs to general plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, toilets, sinks, and kitchen equipment.
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures within the property, including cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters.
- Paint and finish as needed to maintain the resort's facilities.
- Install and repair flooring, including ceramic tile, vinyl, carpet, and other types of flooring.
- Work various shifts as needed to ensure the resort's facilities are well-maintained.
- Respond promptly to guest issues and be willing to pitch in and help co-workers with their job duties.
- Assist guests, guest functions, and group set-ups as required.
- Provide own small hand tools and be willing to take reasonable requests from management.
- Basic maintenance abilities required.
- At least 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a hospitality environment preferred.
- Ability to take and follow directions.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage time and activity.
- Mechanically inclined.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
