About the Role:
As a Medical Oncology Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working alongside talented peers in a collaborative environment that is guided by diversity and inclusion. You will have the clinical resources, data, and support of a global organization behind you, empowering you to provide exceptional care to your patients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch medical oncology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in active research programs, including clinical trials, to advance the field of medical oncology and improve patient outcomes.
- Conduct dedicated tumor board meetings for multiple cancer types, including GI/GU, liver cancer, breast, lung, neuro-oncology, and hematologic malignancies.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and diagnostics, including PET scans, to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Work closely with university and academic centers, including faculty positions with the Washington State University Medical College Residency program, to precept residents and medical students.
- Develop and implement survivorship and palliative care programs to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Requirements:
- Unrestricted Washington Physician (MD/DO) License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Successful completion of Residency/Fellowship at an accredited program or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible for medical oncology or hematology and oncology.
- New graduates and those early in their careers are especially encouraged to apply.
