Associate Therapist

The Center for Discovery is seeking a skilled Associate Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide high-quality treatment services to patients and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation, meeting quality standards and policies.
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, communicating treatment goals and progress with all team members.
  • Facilitate admission assessments, admission processes, and therapeutic rapport with patients and families.
  • Lead psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups, facilitating patient growth and understanding.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, complete discharge sessions, and ensure continuity of care upon admission, midpoint, and discharge.
  • Communicate with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, required.
  • Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions, required.
  • Operates under supervision and is not licensed.
  • Obtain CPI certification, CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing.
