About the Role:
As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) at Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of pharmacy services, including prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and health education. Your expertise and knowledge will be essential in promoting the health and well-being of our patients, and in supporting the overall success of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional patient care and services, including prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and health education.
• Work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and service.
• Promote the health and well-being of our patients through education and counseling on medication use, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and services to our patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication profiles.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and patient care.
Requirements:
• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.

Salary Range:
The current salary range for this position is $52.00 per hour - $74.80 per hour. The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
