Job Summary:

Pepper Construction Company of Ohio, LLC is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in assisting our construction team on various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of duties and tasks to assist on the construction site, including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
  • Assist other tradespeople, such as carpenters, with tasks such as selective demolition, concrete placement, and flagging.
  • Drive equipment as needed and make simple repairs and adjustments to machinery or trucks.
  • Work independently and with little direction, taking initiative to find work activities when waiting for next task directive.
  • Assist with general clean-up, including vacuuming, sweeping, and rubbish removal.
  • Perform selective demolition of non-load bearing walls, ceilings, and flooring material and clean up of all demolition debris.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in commercial construction, preferred.
  • OSHA 10, preferred.
  • Operator's certificate, preferred.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and ability to multi-task.
  • Task-oriented, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including some overtime, weekends, and night shifts.
