About the Role

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Director to lead our heavy civil construction team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the preconstruction process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Lead preconstruction efforts for heavy civil construction projects, including site work, earthwork, deep foundations, rail, structural concrete, and utilities
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on preconstruction
  • Proficiency in software and internet-based programs, including HCSS Heavy Bid, Trimble Business Center, BlueBeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Primavera P6, Building Connected, and Viewpoint
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
