We're seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead to join our team at Pregis. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform troubleshooting and repair of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.
- Be on call for emergency repairs and breakdown situations.
- Analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure the proper function of our line manufacturing support systems.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments, management, and employees to ensure production efficiency.
- Coordinate and perform repairs on equipment as necessary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Associate's or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, or Computer Science preferred.
- Ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others.
- Promote a positive teamwork culture.
- Knowledge of safety requirements and guidelines in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work instructions.
- Exposure to moving equipment.
- Inside work.
- Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Humidity may exceed 80%.
- Noise may exceed 85dB+.
- Personal Protective Equipment required.
- Frequent standing and stooping.
