Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at Kickapoo Casino Harrah. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our enterprise technology systems.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to team member requests and service tickets, troubleshoot, and escalate issues pertaining to production systems.
- Participate in IT projects under the direction of Assistant General Manager and Senior Leadership team.
- Conduct asset tracking and recovery, inventory management, telecom/network maintenance, vendor management, and process improvement activities.
- Configure and image laptops, desktops, and other endpoint devices with standard policies to comply with security baselines.
- Provide written and verbal status reports, communicate and update customers and team of issues, and update online diagrams and documentation.
- Interface with 3rd party manufacturers to coordinate system upgrades, changes, and maintenance activity to provide lifecycle system support.
- Document troubleshooting and resolution steps via the existing knowledge base program to reduce resolve time.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate degree in Computer Science or related field.
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant IT work experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years computer experience working directly with workstations, servers, phone systems, mobile devices, networking, or printers.
- Technical troubleshooting experience, including documented ability to analyze and diagnose network, computer, and/or telecom issues.
- Ability to solve technical problems, work well under stress, and follow instructions.
- Customer service and vendor management experience is preferred.
- Experience working in Casino or Gaming industry is preferred.
