POSITION SUMMARY

The United States Air Force is seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Podiatric Surgeons. These specialists play a crucial role in maintaining the mobility and health of our Airmen, who face rigorous physical demands.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Podiatric Surgeons are responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions. Their expertise ranges from managing minor issues such as calluses to addressing complex injuries like fractures.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 24 months in a podiatric surgical residency program.
  • At least six months of practical experience in podiatric roles.
  • A valid and current license to practice podiatric medicine.
  • Completion of Officer Training School.
  • Ages must be between 18 and 42 years.
