Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate CT scanners and associated equipment with proficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, providing a full explanation and documenting on appropriate worksheets.
  • Interview patients for medical history and review electronic medical records (EMRs) to obtain pertinent clinical history.
  • Evaluate the technical quality of images and consult with a radiologist if necessary.
  • Assist with medical emergencies and perform invasive procedures in accordance with established policies.
  • Maintain knowledge and skills required to work safely in a bloodborne pathogens and infectious disease environment.
  • Rotate shifts, including call backs, holidays, and weekends, while adhering to attendance policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine, along with advanced registry in CT scanning within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification is also required.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Atrium Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
