Job Description:
As a House Supervisor, you will oversee the entire hospital operation during administration's absence, ensuring seamless delivery of care. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing performance, maintaining schedules, and providing education and coaching when necessary
- Assisting the DON in conducting department meetings
- Displaying thorough nursing knowledge, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge procedures, medication distribution, and medical care
- Delivering quality nursing care to ensure goals of the treatment plan are executed
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be 21 years of age and hold a graduate degree from an accredited program of professional nursing training
- Possess a current, unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
- Hold CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
- Be prepared to work flexible hours and overtime
- Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients is preferred
