Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Program Coordinator to join our team at our Painesville, OH Early Childhood Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and directing all educational services for clients in need, guiding curriculum and program planning, development, and training, as well as serving as a resource specialist for program staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with educators, families, and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality services to young children.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate program performance and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of services delivered and provide regular feedback to staff.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure positive links and resources for clients and staff.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including those related to the Office of Head Start, county boards, Joint Commission, OHMHAS, federal and state funding sources, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood required; Master's in Education preferred with Early Childhood experience/focus.
- ODE Teaching License preferred or similar licensure.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in ECE Curriculum, Instruction, and developmentally appropriate strategies to foster Early Childhood Development.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Developmental assessment tools.
- Knowledge and experience in human services with families of young children, preferably in a home-based program option.
- Knowledge of early child development and principles of child health, safety, nutrition, and family dynamics.
- Experience working with low-income families, diverse backgrounds, and varied experience strongly preferred.
- Must have an acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and auto insurance with a minimum liability limit of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
