Vascular Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Vascular Technologist to join our team at Hired LLC. As a key member of our vascular laboratory, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures to assess vascular health.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of non-invasive vascular exams, including carotid duplex, venous duplex, arterial duplex, and abdominal vascular imaging.
- Utilize ultrasound equipment to capture images of the vascular system and evaluate blood flow dynamics.
- Analyze and interpret data from diagnostic tests, providing preliminary findings and detailed reports to the referring physician.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of the images and data captured, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound and other vascular diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation during the examination.
- Collaborate with the vascular team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with advances in vascular technology and techniques by participating in continuing education and professional development.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards to protect both patients and staff.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Vascular Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Proficiency in the use of ultrasound equipment and other vascular imaging technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
The RVT typically works in a clinical or hospital setting. May require standing for extended periods and moving or positioning patients. Exposure to infectious diseases and other hazards; adherence to safety protocols is essential. Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts, may be required.
SalarySalary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
