Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Surgical OR Technician PRN Non-Certified to join our team. As a Surgical OR Technician, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures, assisting surgeons and anesthesia providers during operations, and maintaining accurate records throughout procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, setting up equipment, position aids, and safety items
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operations, passing instruments, supplies, and medications as needed
- Maintain accurate records throughout procedures, ensuring correct labeling and handling of surgical specimens and medicines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Educational attainment through graduation from a CST or ST program (on-the-job training acceptable)
- Experience as an OR Surgical Technologist preferred (membership in CST association also preferred)
