The Technical Maintenance Director at DSJ Global will oversee the production maintenance function at the manufacturing facility. This role includes managing personnel costs and overseeing a technical team of over 60 full-time employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical maintenance support systems and processes.
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance maintenance efficiency.
- Serve as a key member of the facility's Engineering & Maintenance organization.
- Plan, supervise, and schedule all machinery, electrical, and packaging maintenance projects to optimize facility use.
- Ensure maintenance activities are conducted effectively within schedule constraints.
- Promote the development of new job methods and procedures; maintain systems and procedures to enhance productivity in the maintenance unit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Packaging, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Processing, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Civil) or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the food processing industry managing a diverse, technical staff.
- Experience with CMMS systems and TPM methodology.
- In-depth knowledge of food industry processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Understanding of financial indicators and experience in budget development and management.
- Strong people management skills, including communication, leadership, effective presentation, coaching, crisis management, motivation, team building, organization, time management, and stress management.
