We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a RN Ortho Trauma Pediatrics, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with orthopedic and trauma injuries. You will work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient's unique needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical and administrative support on the unit
  • Coordinating unit activities and ensuring accountability of all assigned tasks
  • Serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
  • Coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited school
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Experience working in an orthopedic or trauma setting
