Your Team

You will be part of a dynamic team that is redefining how Cisco collaborates with service providers and partners to develop engaging managed services and as-a-service solutions for Security frameworks.

This position is crucial for supporting the Service Provider sales teams in formulating and executing strategies for Security infrastructure, encompassing both physical and virtual offerings. A strong background in the IT industry and familiarity with Security frameworks is essential.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the chance to design, implement, and expand a burgeoning business segment within Cisco. You will collaborate with leading security technologies to create compelling offerings, develop Sales Go-To-Market strategies, and drive significant initiatives with our clients.

The service creation team is dedicated to establishing long-term strategies and ensuring successful execution. You will work alongside cross-functional teams in sales, product management, operations, and marketing to drive key security strategies and identify opportunities within Cisco's Service Providers.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with various Providers to support critical sales and business initiatives in a complex environment.

You will ensure that partners receive timely updates on product information and purchasing models relevant to each technology and SASE architecture.

Collaborating with internal Cisco teams, you will help build the service offerings and develop launch content in partnership with Providers.

You will work closely with partners to establish commercial models based on service packages and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Your role will involve identifying potential technology challenges and pitfalls in the service offerings.

You will partner with both Cisco and Provider teams to create marketing campaigns, enhance sales awareness, and develop enablement programs.

You will advocate for partner service offerings and relay partner feedback to the Business Unit and Cisco Sales organization.

You will oversee program management and governance for the launch of service offerings.

You will collaborate with sales teams, client executives, and delivery teams from partners to achieve desired business outcomes.

Who You Are

You possess a background in high-tech sales or strategy management consulting. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

You understand the business models of Partners (SP/ITSP/MSP), and you excel at building relationships and capturing partner interest.

You are knowledgeable about MSP industry trends, market opportunities, Cisco products, competitive dynamics, and how these elements relate to partner catalogs and security service offerings.

You can act as a Trusted Advisor, conceptualizing comprehensive service offerings and constructing business cases with Partners.

Additional Qualifications

You are a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.

You demonstrate strong executive presence, teamwork across groups, and communication skills that influence senior leaders in a complex organization.

As a customer-facing subject matter expert, you focus on business development and orchestrating Managed Services offers with large Service Providers.

You have experience with the Service Provider routing portfolio, industry best practices, and operational processes.

You are proactive and capable of acquiring a working knowledge of Cisco architectures, products, and solutions to deliver compelling value propositions to clients.

You have a proven track record in solution selling, successfully converting engagements into solutions and service sales.

You engage with clients and build relationships, presenting complex ideas in a clear and persuasive manner that fosters urgency to execute proposed engagements.

Requirements

Sales Expertise – 5+ years of experience in proposing solutions that address client business challenges and objectives using both Cisco and third-party solutions/services in a clear and concise manner. Experience collaborating with Cisco or key competitors to develop managed services offers is preferred.

Technical Expertise – Demonstrated technical knowledge in one or more architectures offered by major telcos and MSPs (e.g., SD-WAN, SASE, Security, Campus Networking). Academic training or knowledge of Service Provider technologies is essential for providing comprehensive and valuable consulting advice to clients.

Industry Expertise – Proven understanding of managed service provider businesses, enabling you to present a compelling perspective to clients on necessary work to achieve competitive advantage and differentiation. Familiarity with ITIL service management is a plus.

Delivery Expertise – 10+ years of experience successfully delivering projects that exceed client expectations in terms of quality and positive business impact.

This position offers flexibility in terms of location, with travel requirements varying up to 25%.
