Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety on the job site, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the General Contract, Subcontracts, and all relevant project documentation.
  • Collaborate with Estimating, Division Management, and Project Management teams to effectively supervise and coordinate construction activities, serving as the primary contact for owners, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive schedules and production plans, aligning with budgetary and safety objectives.
  • Generate daily reports, progress updates, compliance documentation, and logs, while reviewing subcontractor submissions for accuracy.
  • Facilitate weekly coordination and monthly safety meetings with subcontractors, documenting outcomes for the Project Manager.
  • Evaluate and authorize subcontractor payment requests and review all time and material vouchers and vendor invoices.
  • Oversee the examination of plans and drawings to ensure compliance with contract specifications and coordinate shop drawings.
  • Procure necessary tools and materials to guarantee availability in line with the project timeline.
  • Assess staffing requirements and scheduling based on construction methodologies and the availability of equipment for each project phase.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing federal projects exceeding $5 million.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • EMS 385 Certification (preferred).
  • Previous experience with NAVFAC (preferred).
