About Us: Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system recognized for its cardiac excellence. Our innovative cardiovascular program offers a wide range of services, including electrophysiology, hybrid procedures, and same-day surgery. We are proud to be affiliated with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Patient Care: Identify and assess patient conditions, provide patient care, and position patients for optimal results.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
- Preceptorship: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
- Downtime Management: Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
- Professional Relationships: Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Hold current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Education: Complete a 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology or an equivalent military program.
- Experience: Prefer previous procedural area experience, but not required.
