Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with the patient and family, encompassing an understanding and integration of cultural and diversity into practice.
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with the patient, family, and healthcare team members.
  • Respect the patient's values, preferences, expressed needs, and knowledge of the healthcare situation in holistic data collection, in formulating healthcare outcomes, and in the evaluation process.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN or demonstrated BSN enrollment required with completion within three years of hire.
  • Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
Work Environment

This is a virtual nurse position with two virtual days in Stratford and one clinical day in Bridgeport. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday. Med Surg RN experience is required. External hires must complete full orientation at Bridgeport Hospital location.
