Medical Dosimetrist

Job Summary:

A Radiation Therapist II at Stony Brook Medicine provides clinical services to our patient population. This role is a valuable member of our team, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Radiation Therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Correctly prepare, operate, and monitor radiotherapy equipment and accessories.
• Interpret portal vision films and on-board imaging.
• Prepare immobilization devices and bolus material.
• Assist in clinical instruction of students.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy.
• NYS license or temporary license in radiation therapy.
• Member of ASRT and ARRT.
