We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Inspector to join our team at Everts Air. As an Aircraft Maintenance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect Aircraft and Components: Perform scheduled inspections and document discrepancies. Conduct RII inspections of tasks requiring special inspection.
- Meet with Flight Personnel: Discuss maintenance requirements or accomplishments with flight personnel upon arrival and departure of aircraft.
- Perform Airworthiness Release: Determine that the aircraft is safe for operation and release it for flight.
- Inspect Parts and Materials: Verify documentation and conformance to standards for parts and materials.
- Update Aircraft Records: Review and update aircraft records, including daily log sheets and RAAS entries.
- Conduct Vendor Audits: Audit vendor facilities for compliance with FAA standards and train vendor employees on company procedures.
- Bridge Inspection: Inspect new aircraft records and verify AD compliance and AD status.
- CAS Audits: Perform audits to ensure compliance with company procedures and present findings to the Chief Inspector.
- Tool Calibration: Ensure all tools requiring calibration are up-to-date and coordinate with maintenance to have tools sent out for calibration when necessary.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License: Required.
- Ability to Understand and Retain Information: Required.
- Machines and Tools Knowledge: Required.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Preferred Experience: Previous Part 121 maintenance experience, 4+ years of aircraft technician experience, and 2+ years of college.
