Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer at MGP Caliper Covers, you will be responsible for creating and managing all aspects of mechanical design on past, present, and future products. This includes:

  • Developing detailed SolidWorks drawings for component designs
  • Creating complete assembly files for vendors, jobbers, in-house manufacturing, and strategic partners
  • Validating designs and troubleshooting potential issues when inspecting 1st article samples
  • Assisting in developing work instructions for production, purchasing, and marketing departments
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • 2 years of design experience with SolidWorks
  • Experience with machining processes
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the automotive industry
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and 5S principles and concepts
