Monitor Technician

{"Overview": "At Mercy, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a Monitoring Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by monitoring their cardiac rhythms and providing timely notifications to our clinical team.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and identify any changes or abnormalities
* Provide immediate notification to RNs and clinicians of any changes in cardiac rhythms
* Review patient information to determine normal heart rhythm patterns, current patterns, and prior variances
* Work cooperatively as part of a team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Completion of a monitor tech course or passing score of 85% on a monitor tech competency exam
* CRAT certification within 1 year of hire
* Basic computer skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
