At Minnesota Urology P.A., we are seeking a highly skilled Urodynamic Technician to join our team in Woodbury. As a key member of our Center for Continence Care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and maintaining professional standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing urodynamic and video urodynamic testing, patient education, and assisting with research studies. You will also work closely with our physicians and travel to satellite clinics as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for routine urodynamic testing, including catheterization and infection prevention.
- Assist with video urodynamics and other procedures, such as cystoscopy, bladder ultrasound, and vaginal/rectal exams.
- Perform simple urinalysis and maintain urodynamic equipment.
- Follow research protocols, collect data, and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to a sanitary work environment and maintain an adequate supply inventory.
- Answer patient inquiries and respond to phone calls in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program for LPNs or Medical Assistants.
- Pass certification examination within 1 year of start date.
