Job Overview

As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production systems. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying, and maintaining various mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to corporate and plant safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, alongside electrical power supply and control circuits.
  • Identify and resolve issues with blow molders, baggers, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems effectively.
  • Execute mechanical changes including mold and pin adjustments.
  • Maintain machinery in peak operational condition.
  • Conduct hydraulic assessments and perform necessary modifications on valves, hoses, and pumps.
  • Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance on all related equipment.
  • Perform MIG welding and fabrication tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve repair processes and operational efficiency.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic mathematical and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and forms in English.
  • Strong communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • OSHA Forklift certification.
