Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of surgical technologists and other support staff
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to surgical services
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members to ensure they meet the highest standards of care

Requirements:

  • Must have completed a Surgical Tech Program
  • Must have certification - either NBSTSA or NCCT
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience in the OR
