We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Maple Crest Health Center. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications as directed by prescribing physicians and in accordance with state and company policy.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents as directed by physicians and in accordance with state and company policy.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide quality care to residents.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on medication administration best practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Medication Aide license in the State of Nebraska required.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Nebraska required.
- Long Term Care experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, patience, and emotional maturity to effectively communicate and interact with residents, families, and co-workers.
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $20.00 per hour.
