Electrician Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems throughout the property, ensuring the highest standards of guest services and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Ensure compliance with Tribal, Federal, and other laws and gaming regulations, as well as Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical systems, including testing and inspection of emergency generators.
• Repair and install electrical outlets, wiring, and low-voltage systems.
• Maintain electrical rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Respond to emergency calls and adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Read and understand technical/electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions.
• Perform multiple electrical tasks with a need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Maintain or be in current pursuit of an electrician license. Certification as electrician is required.
• Technical training or minimum one (1) year experience in related field.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral. Spanish or other language skills a plus.

The Electrician will work in a casino floor, outside premises, and normal office setting. The position requires frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment and frequent contact with the general public. The team member must be able to perform under pressure and work long hours under stressful conditions.

• Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license.
• Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
