We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and record patient clinical information and history, verifying physician orders and reviewing laboratory test results.
- Assist, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring their modesty and physical safety.
- Prepare and administer oral and intravenous contrast media as ordered, and process images accurately.
- Check equipment operation, complete daily phantom quality assurance, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in CT technology and radiologic science through ongoing education and professional development.
- ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
- RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts is required.
- CT modality requires a Sub-specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment.
- BLS certification is required.
- Maintaining all area-specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation is required.
This role requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel. The job also requires pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting weights up to 100 pounds.
