We are looking for a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team in the Radiology Department. As a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the imaging team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of images and reports. Your responsibilities will include communicating with patients and providers, facilitating patient care and flow between departments, processing laboratory tests and results assessments, and documenting patient care. You will also operate multiple hospital computer systems, perform basic order entry, and assist physicians, nurses, and radiology technologists as needed. To succeed in this role, you must have completion of a standard one-year medical laboratory assistant training program or equivalent, BLS certification from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program, and at least one year of phlebotomy experience or Associate degree with two years of applicable direct patient healthcare experience.
