Pharmacy Technician Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at ChenMed. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists with the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with the operation of pharmacy systems and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment.
  • Perform duties assigned by the pharmacist, including data entry and inventory management.
  • Report any prescription errors or quality issues to the pharmacist.
  • Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Board of Pharmacy technician registration and current licensure.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a pharmacy setting, including pharmacy/medical data entry experience.
