As a Critical Care RN, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality care to our patients. You will also model proficiency through precepting new staff members and contribute to a safe and quality environment at the point of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level of care in a technically complex environment.
- Utilize AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards to deliver evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
- 2+ years of experience in a Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
