You will plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs, identify patient needs and determine priorities for care, and develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
- Initiate assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years (recent) Telemetry experience required.
- ASN-Required.
- BSN- Preferred.
- NJ RN License.
- BLS-AHA.
- NIHSS.
- Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam REQUIRED.
