Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:

• Welding: Execute advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, on various materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to grasp project specifications and requirements.
• Equipment Setup: Prepare and operate welding machines, cutting torches, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and precision of welds, making adjustments to welding parameters as necessary.
• Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and fitting as required.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and practices, including the use of appropriate protective gear and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Collaboration: Work alongside engineers and other team members to ensure timely project completion according to specifications.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve welding issues or defects promptly, suggesting improvements to processes as needed.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials utilized, time spent, and project progress.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Certification or training in welding or relevant on-the-job experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of welding experience, with proficiency in various welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Capacity to stand, stoop, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.

Schedule:
Full-time, 4 days/week with overtime available. Day shift: M-Th 5:00AM - 3:30PM; 2nd shift: M-TH 3:30PM - 2:00AM (with shift differential).
