We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to medically fragile patients in their homes, helping them to thrive and live independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with healthcare teams
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our electronic system of record
  • Teach and train family members on patient care and health promotion
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
