Key Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and ambulation both indoors and outdoors
  • Support clients with personal hygiene and grooming
  • Facilitate physical therapy and exercise routines as directed
  • Accompany clients during shopping trips or run errands on their behalf
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation
  • Gather and relay information regarding client conditions and treatment plans
  • Notify healthcare professionals and family members of any unusual occurrences
  • Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not mandatory
  • Current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
  • Familiarity with housekeeping and cooking, considering dietary needs
  • Must exhibit respect, compassion, and a strong bedside manner
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform necessary tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
