Data Modeler

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler to join our team at Calibro Corp.
As a key player, you will be responsible for building and migrating critical data assets into a cutting-edge AWS technology stack using Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau.
This is a fully remote, long-term contract role that offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern data technologies and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Technical Proficiencies
Required:
- SQL
- Hands-on modeling using either ERStudio or Erwin
Preferred:
- Databricks
- Starburst
- Immuta
- Collibra
- WS Services familiarity

- Pyspark/Python
METHODS AND BEST PRACTICES
SCHEMA AND DATA MODELING
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data models within the data mesh architecture, considering factors such as domain-driven design, data as a product, and federated data governance
- Work closely with data architects, data engineers, business users and translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate data model designs effectively
- Leverage Databricks for data engineering tasks such as data processing, data validation and data orchestration
- Optimize data pipelines and ensure reliable and efficient data processing, high performance, and scalability
- Implement data validation rules and data quality checks to ensure data integrity and consistency
