The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join its dynamic radiology team in a faculty position. The ideal candidate will support the mission of delivering high-quality care, teaching, research, and academic responsibilities.

This new position will be available for start date as early as December 2024. We welcome MSK fellowship-trained radiologists to apply, including candidates finishing fellowship. The successful candidate will enjoy a 100% subspecialty practice with weekend call. Due to significant growth, we are recruiting a sixth radiologist to join our team.

We have a high-volume and diverse case mix, and close relationships with our referring colleagues, facilitated by frequent conferences to ensure reciprocal learning. Our training program has 30 residents and one to two MSK fellows. Our modality mix of X-ray, MR, CT, and US is robust, including spine imaging.

The clinical practice is a large part of this position, but the ideal candidate will be motivated to participate in meaningful research and contribute to trainee education with didactic lectures. Our salary package includes a competitive base salary of $400,000 per year, plus bonus, vacation, and benefits structure that is exceptionally generous.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD/DO or equivalent degree.
  • ABR Board Certified or Eligible.
  • Completion of a MSK fellowship from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
