Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and provide therapy to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a positive learning environment and helping students succeed.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each student, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide therapy services to students individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to review progress and develop goals, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • California state license in Speech-Language Pathology, issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
  • California Educator Credential in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, with a proven track record of success in assessing and treating students with communication disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • State Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathology license from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
  • Professional Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
  • Educator Certification: California Educator Credential in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility.
